Many of our guests describe our 50-km trail system as the
best in the world. What a compliment! These cross-country
ski and snowshoe trails are cleared and packed (not track
set). Trails are mapped and signed. They traverse moose marches
and wind through cedar groves, sugar maple stands and pine
forests. These are magnificent, quiet, scenic trails whatever
your cross-country ski level.
Smoothwater has many types
outdoor vacation packages: family holidays, romantic getaways,
holiday weekends, Christmas and March Break vacations. Perhaps
your cross-country skiing and snowshoeing vacation will include
learning how to cook, paint, bake
bread or practice yoga.
Of course, inside our wilderness lodge the wood stove cranks
